Happy 4th of July from the Russo Team

July 4th, 1776 was the day our great country declared its independence. Over the years, there have been thousands of men and women who have dedicated their lives to protect and service this great freedom.

In the wake of the tragic fires impacting Arizona right now, we have even more reason to celebrate this important holiday. Tomorrow as you gather with your family and friends, I hope you will take a moment to pay respect to the 19 brave men who gave their lives fighting to protect the community of Yarnell.

I am both proud and honored to call this place my home. To see the outpour of community support, from people donating food and clothing, to companies opening up to feed the displaced, to the service men and women who are stepping up to help their brothers and sisters in arms, as they mourn the loss of an elite crew of men. This picture of downtown Phoenix, taken the day our fallen heroes were transported, says it all. It’s a great time to call yourself an American; it’s a great day to call yourself an Arizonian.
