New Home Sales Jump, Home Prices Rise

The Commerce Department reported on Monday that new home sales jumped up 7.6 percent which is the highest increase since April 2010. As the housing market finally turns a corner, it is projected that new home construction will contribute to the gross domestic product for the first time in seven years. Improving housing conditions also report a 5.6 percent increase in the median price of a new home - up from May last year to $234,500.

At Lennar’s Cabrillo Point located in Peoria, Arizona you can choose between one of five different home designs ranging in price from the mid-$100’s to the low-$200’s.
