Encanto Vista Historic District is a quaint community of well-cared for homes situated on horseshoe-shaped streets. Just to the west of this historic district is Encanto Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course. The streets within Encanto Vista Historic District were designed to provide lots of open landscaped areas with privacy from traffic.

Encanto Golf Course is the third oldest course in Arizona, built in 1935. Amenities include a driving range, pro shop, golf clinics, tournaments, practice greens and youth lessons.

Historic Homes:
The historic homes in Encanto Vista were built between the mid-1940s through the late 1950s. Built as ranch style homes, most have a detached two car garage which is in the back of the home.

In Encanto Vista Historic District you will find a more modern design to Arizona’s suburban lifestyle, instead of the typical bungalow style that you will find in other historic districts. In these homes, you are likely to find a back patio instead of a front porch.
